The Maine University Housing Bond Issue, also known as Referendum Question No. 3, was on the September 9, 1959 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved. The measure authorized the issuance of up to $10 million in bonds for the construction of housing at the University of Maine.[1][2]
