I was raised by a single mother with limited resources and a reliance on governmental assistance. I had a personal intimacy with being housing and food insecure. There was violence both inside and outside of the home. I could have chosen to be a victim of the cards that I was dealt at birth, but I knew I wanted better.

With a lot of hard work, dedication, and just a bit of luck, I became the first in my family to graduate high school, college, and law school. I have worked in D.C. and Ireland. I am now a family law, legal aid attorney, a community organizer, a former fellow to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and a concerned citizen.

I will advocate for the people who have been left behind and forgotten. Texas and Texans deserve better. I intend to fight for the people and their needs.
  • Every Texan: deserves affordable housing, higher wages, and guaranteed child care.
  • Every student: deserves affordable, safe, and high-quality public education.
  • Every person: deserves affordable and accessible healthcare.
