She has experience working with legislators at the Iowa Capitol and has successfully navigated the legislative process. Mandee's strong work ethic is rooted in faith, service, and respect for the Constitution, which will give our District the energetic support it needs.
Mandee's interest in serving as District 11's Senator has never been about politics as usual. It’s about ensuring government serves the people—not the other way around. She is focused on listening, engaging citizens, and wanting to make sure our District has a voice.- Sex Trafficking - No person should ever be bought, sold, or exploited. We must fight for protection and advocate for justice. This fight is deeply personal. Every life is sacred, and we must defend the vulnerable. We must champion stronger laws and hold perpetrators accountable. Protecting the vulnerable is not optional—it is a moral obligation we must uphold.
- Parental Rights - Parents have a fundamental right to direct the upbringing of their children—a right rooted in family, conscience, and love. Every child is uniquely made and learns in their own way. Parents are best positioned to choose the environment that safeguards their children’s hearts and minds, preserves their innocence, and cultivates their character. Whether public, private, religious, vocational, charter, or home-based, each option deserves support to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive according to their family’s values and beliefs. This sacred responsibility belongs to parents—not the government.
- Property Tax - Homeownership is a cornerstone of the American Dream and the foundation of family stability. Yet rising property taxes place a heavy burden on families and threaten the very idea of true ownership. Policies must protect homeowners, prevent unjust increases, and ensure no one is taxed out of their home. Ownership should be honored—not penalized.
