  • Atlanta needs to address a rapidly growing crime rate. To do that we need to adjust our thinking and take action on the underlying issues that contribute to our policing issues.
  • Atlanta does not have an adequate supply of affordable housing. Our long-standing residents who are on fixed or limited incomes are being taxed out of their homes. Even our city employees and first responders find it difficult to live in their own communities. We must address the housing affordability crisis in Atlanta.
  • The city of Atlanta's infrastructure is seriously lacking. Garbage pick up is questionable and yard waste pick-up doesn’t happen. Our first responder numbers are below what is needed. Streets are crumbling and sidewalks are non-existent. Parks with private conservancies are maintained while the majority need immediate attention. Who is accountable for our current situation? It should be our elected officials.
I am passionate about housing affordability, public safety, climate change, and public infrastructure. In fact, I believe these issues are all related to one another and that we must address all of them in order to effectively and sustainability improve any of them.
