Mannon G. Bankson, Jr.
Mannon G. Bankson, Jr. was a judge on the District Court in Calhoun County, Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Robert Bentley in February 2011 and his term expired in 2012. [1]
2012 election
Bankson was defeated by Christopher M. McIntyre in the Republican primary on March 13, receiving 44.64% of the vote.[2][3]
Education
Bankson received his undergraduate degree from The University of Arkansas and in 1984, his J.D. from Birmingham School of Law.[1]
Career
Bankson has spent the majority of his legal career in private practice, but was a judge on the Circuit 7 Court from 2007 to 2009. He also served with the Administrative Office of the Courts as a Drug Court Referee.[1]
