Manny De Los Santos
Manny De Los Santos (Democratic Party) is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 72. He assumed office on February 17, 2022. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
De Los Santos (Working Families Party, Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 72. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Democratic primary on June 25, 2024.
Biography
Manny De Los Santos was born in the Dominican Republic and lives in Washington Heights, New York.[1][2] De Los Santos earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work from the University at Albany of the State University of New York. His career experience includes working as a social worker and community school director. De Los Santos has served with the Neighborhood Advisory Board (NAB) and Community Board 12.[2][3]

Elections for the New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Guillermo Linares defeated Francesca Castellanos, Manny De Los Santos, Mayobanex Villalona and Melanie Hidalgo in the Democratic primary, while Ronnie Cabrera was unopposed in the Republican primary. Linares defeated Cabrera in the general election.[4][5][6]
