Robert Sormani is the superintendent of Manor Independent School District. Sormani was appointed superintendent on April 28, 2023. His previous career experience includes working as Associate Superintendent for Instruction and Innovation for the Hutto Independent School District, Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Manor Independent School District, a principal and assistant principial for the Round Rock Independent School District, and a assistant principal and a history teacher for the Austin Independent School District.[1]
Past superintendents
- Michael Perkins was the interim superintendent of Manor Independent School district from December 30, 2022 until April 28, 2023.[2]
- Andre Spencer was the superintendent of Manor Independent School District from his appointment in May 2020 until his retirement on December 30, 2022.[2] His previous career experience includes being an executive superintendent in the New York City Department of Education.[3] In December 2022, he was named the lone finalist for the superintendent position at the Teaneck Public School District. He started this position in January 2023.[4]
- Royce Avery was the superintendent of the Manor Independent School District from 2016 to 2020.[3] Avery's previous career experience includes working as a special educator, principal, and area superintendent of the El Paso Independent School District.[5]
