The Mansfield Budget Referendum was on the June 16 2009 in Tolland County, Connecticut, where it was defeated. The motion displayed concern for the city budget, which stood at $43,010,137. The referendum was called due to more than 400 petition signatures by residents., with only 251 signatures needed at the time.[1][2]
