Manuel Gonzales III (Democratic Party) was the Bernalillo County Sheriff in New Mexico. He assumed office in 2014. He left office on December 31, 2022.

Gonzales (Republican Party) ran for election to the New Mexico State Senate to represent District 23. He lost in the Republican primary on June 4, 2024.

Gonzales also ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent New Mexico. He was disqualified from the Republican primary scheduled on June 4, 2024.
