I’m a gastroenterologist, Franklin Public School Board member, raising five kids with my amazing wife, and we are proud to call Franklin home. Our family is deeply rooted in this community, and I care about creating a safe, affordable place for our kids and yours to grow up. I’ve served on many medical missions to help people in need, and I bring that same compassion to everything I do. I’m running because I believe leadership should be grounded in service, listening, and showing up for neighbors, and I’m committed to working hard for every family across Milwaukee County.
  • I’m running because I care deeply about how Milwaukee County spends our tax dollars. As Treasurer of the Franklin Public School Board, I helped manage real budgets, strengthen our district’s financial health, and make responsible decisions that protected taxpayers while investing in students. Like many families, I feel the pressure of rising costs, property taxes, and fees. Milwaukee County needs practical leadership that understands budgets, asks tough questions, and puts residents first. I bring both experience and the perspective of a concerned neighbor who wants smart, transparent spending that works for working families and seniors.
  • Everywhere I go, I hear the same concerns from neighbors: people want transparency from elected officials, safer communities, and real investment in the places we live. Residents are frustrated when decisions happen behind closed doors, when public safety feels uncertain, and when community spaces are neglected, like the Hales Corners. I believe our tax dollars should come back to our neighborhoods through parks, infrastructure, and services that strengthen the quality of life. County government should listen, communicate clearly, and deliver results people can see.
  • Serving as Treasurer on the Franklin Public School Board taught me how important it is to be thoughtful with taxpayer dollars while never losing sight of who we’re serving. I worked to push back on large levy increases, helped move the district to a self-insured health plan that saved over $1 million, and introduced an amendment that reduced a proposed 13.2% levy hike to 5%. We also improved our credit rating, saving nearly $18 million that went back into classrooms instead of interest payments. Every decision I made was guided by one question: how does this help our students and support our teachers? I’ll bring that same people-first mindset to the Milwaukee County Board.
As a practicing physician, department chair, and assistant professor training future doctors, I see firsthand how broken systems fail patients and families. Milwaukee County oversees Health and Human Services, which makes having a medical perspective on the County Board critical. I’m passionate about expanding access to mental health care, supporting our seniors, and strengthening community-based services that keep people healthy. I don’t just study these issues, I live them every day in exam rooms, and I’m ready to bring that real-world experience to county leadership.
