- NO 5,695 (46.57%)[1]
This measure sought to allow the district to exceed the set revenue limit for the district budget by a rate of ten percent for a further six years in order to pay for maintenance and operational expenses.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| Shall the Governing Board of Marana Unified School District No. 6 of Pima County, Arizona, adopt a General Maintenance and Operation Budget which includes an amount that exceeds the revenue control limit specified by statute by ten percent for fiscal year and for six subsequent years as described below? The budget override authority represents a continuation of the existing budget override authority which is scheduled to phase down by one-third for fiscal year 2012-2013 if the voters do not approve the continuation.[3] |
