Marcel Weiland
Marcel Weiland (b. August 13, 1990) was a Republican candidate for District 6 of the California State Senate. The primary election was on June 8, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.
About
Weiland earned his A.A. in Liberal Arts from American River College in 2010. Weiland was a sales associate for Sears in 2009. He then worked as a sales associate for Kohls in 2010.[1]

Weiland was defeated in the November 2 general election by incumbent Democrat Darrell Steinberg.[2] Weiland ran unopposed in the June 8 primary elections.[3]

Weiland resides in Citrus Heights, California. In addition to running for state office, Weiland was a member of the Board of Justice at American River College from 2009 to 2010. He was also an ex-officio member of the Sacramento County Republican Central Committee in 2010.[1]
