Marcella Frevert
Marcella Frevert (b. October 26, 1937) was a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 7th District from 1997 to 2010.
On March 16, 2010, Frevert announced she would not be seeking re-election.[1]
Frevert was an Elementary Teacher at Emmetsburg Community Schools. She has previously been a Receptionist/Bookkeeper for Emmetsburg Veterinary Clinic, and a Sixth Grade Teacher with Cylinder School District.
She is a member of the Association of Supervision of Curriculum and Development, Concordia Reading Conference, Governmental Affairs Committee Chair of the Emmetsburg Education Association, International Reading Association, Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Reading Association, Iowa State Education Association, National Council Teachers of English, National Education Association, and the PACK Reading Council.[2]

Frevert did not run for re-election in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Frevert was re-elected to the 7th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Debra Satern (R).[3] Frevert raised $38,748 for her campaign, while Satern raised $6,511.[4]
