I am originally from Argentina. In 1996, I rode my bicycle on a two-year journey from Argentina to Alaska, starting with little money and no contacts. Along the way, I made friends and wound up visiting San Francisco. I fell in love with our great city and decided to make my life here. I returned to San Francisco and worked in restaurants, for the SPCA, in construction, and then became an EMT, and then a Cardiologist Technician at SFSU. I also volunteered at SF General Hospital which led to me taking a job at Stanford Children's Hospital. I have also been running my own business for the last 15 years, and two years ago I became a realt estate agent. As you can see, California has given me wonderful opportunities to work hard and make a better life for myself. The best thing from my move, however, is that I met my wife here, and we now have two wonderful school-age children.
  • My campaign is completely self-funded. I am a man of modest means with a family. But, in running for office I want to have complete transparency and not owe favors to anyone. I am running a campaign without donations of any kind, even from individuals. I ask those who can afford to donate any money to give it directly to someone they know that lost their job or is otherwise in need of support.
  • The issue of the homeless requires critical evaluation. The situation has become progressively more important and difficult. I believe that we must have compassion towards those less fortunate; but we must also have compassion for the other residents of San Francisco. The solutions that have been tried so far are obviously not working as one can see at virtually any freeway underpass, any public park, and many of our streets.
  • No politics, real results.
I believe in protecting the environment, I believe in high quality public education for all, I care deeply about safe and clean streets, and I am running for supervisor because we need a compelling change where we live and where we work!
