Campaign themes
2012
Brice outlines his legislative priorities on his official campaign website:[4]
- Job Creation
Excerpt: "...make it simpler to establish businesses in Detroit and Hamtramck by eliminating roadblocks and through public-private partnerships with the State of Michigan, Detroit and Hamtramck to include workshops, management training and business start-up and capital incentives that provide entrepreneurial and job opportunities."
- Public Safety Response

Through an incentive program using state revenue sharing as a base, I will propose legislation that is targeted to reward municipalities to respond within the national average or better."

- Senior Services
Excerpt: "I will fight to repeal the tax on pensions. I will also collaborate with other legislators and the governor for stricter punishment against people who impose crimes against citizens aged 65 and older."
