Marcia Ann R. Tagavilla
Marcia Tagavilla was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 32 of the Hawaii House of Representatives.
Biography
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Tagavilla graduated from Moanalua High School. She went on to earn her B.A. degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and her M.P.P. from Pepperdine University.[1]
Tagaville's professional experience includes working as a legislative intern with the Hawaii State Legislature, a graduate research assistant at Pepperdine University, a caregiver at a residential care home and most recently as the programs coordinator at Kamaile Academy.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Hawaii House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Linda E. Ichiyama was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Marcia Ann R. Tagavilla was unopposed in the Republican primary. Ichiyama defeated Tagavilla in the general election.[2][3][4]
