Marcia Washington (Democratic Party) was a member of the Nevada State Senate, representing District 4. Washington assumed office on March 18, 2019. Washington left office on November 4, 2020.

The Clark County Commission appointed Washington on March 15, 2019, to fill a vacancy following the resignation of Kelvin Atkinson.[1]

Biography

Washington previously served on the Nevada State Board of Education and as a Clark County fire inspector.[1] She also worked for the Clark County School District.[2]

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
