Marco Desena
Marco Desena was a Republican candidate in the September 13 special election for the New York State Assembly, District 27. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Nettie Mayersohn (D) retired from the Assembly.[1]

Desena was defeated by Michael Simanowitz (D) in the September 13, 2011, special election. Desena also ran on the Conservative Party ticket.[2]
