I was born and raised in the small town of Weddington, North Carolina, where my family has lived for three generations. I have worked for a commercial construction company in Raleigh, as a project manager, for over five years. I enjoy being outdoors in nature, and try to spend as much time as I can up in our beautiful North Carolina mountains. I fell in love with politics after reading the documents that whistleblower, Edward Snowden, released regarding the NSA's illegal surveillance program, which was being used to spy on everyday Americans. After watching several Congressional hearings on the matter, I saw there was little accountability from people who had committed perjury, or worse. I decided, as an obligation to my country, that I would do something to put out of control government agencies in check. I am now seeking to fulfill this obligation, by helping to reinstate accountability within our federal systems and ultimately, giving our government back to its American citizens - WE THE PEOPLE!
  • Growing up in a small town, I witnessed first hand large, rapid growth, where family farms turned into multi-million dollar neighborhoods. I saw the lack of common sense from our elected leaders as they failed to plan ahead, prepare and account for our transportation infrastructure, school districts, and overall health of our small hometown. Our federal government is no different. As we send hundreds of billions of dollars overseas, our elected leaders have forgotten about America, our infrastructure, our schools and the overall health and happiness of our population. I seek to return basic common sense and accountability back into Congress to improve the overall health and happiness of American citizens.
  • In September of 2023, our country hit a record $33 trillion dollars in debt, while simultaneously running with an approximately $2.5 trillion dollar deficit. By the end of 2023, we will hit $34 trillion dollars in debt. This means we will add over $1 trillion dollars to our national debt in less than 100 days. To put this into perspective, 1 trillion seconds is roughly equivalent to 32,000 years. Yes, you read that right! The leaders of the greatest nation to ever exist, can't balance a checkbook! Furthermore, you and I will suffer the consequences from decades of ignorant, out of control spending. If elected, I will fight for common sense budgeting and spending, and pursue strategies to cut unnecessary spending.
  • America is currently under invasion because our crooked federal government has turned a blind eye and even assisted, in some cases, the cartel's establish trafficking routes allowing tens of thousands of illegal migrants to enter our country illegally, on a daily basis. The word illegal is key here. If an American citizen does something illegal, there are legal consequences. During a Congressional hearing over the summer of 2023, witnesses testified the US had lost track of 85,000 migrant children which passed through our broken immigration system. We must not only close our border, but hold responsible those who made these illegal activities possible, no matter what position or party they are from.
1 - Conducting regular audits of Congressional spending. The United States has been running via Continuing Resolution (CR) since the early 1990's. This means every year, Congress blindly rubber stamps all spending bills with an annual inflation increase. This must stop. We must cut the waste and fraud out of our government, ensure money is being spent wisely, and that it is being used for its intended purpose.

2 - Reduce taxes. When we are spending wisely, and making sure our dollars end up where they're supposed to go, there is no need to keep raising taxes. Instead of putting the burden of reckless overspending on the backs of taxpayers, Congress must get their own house in order before demanding more money from Americans.

3 - National security. Not only do we have an open border, but our internet, power, and our communications infrastructure is far from being secured. Over the past twelve months, the US has been hit with unprecedented cyber attacks, which has compromised incredible amounts of highly sensitive data in both the government and private sectors. Also, China now has a state-of-the-art cyber warfare base in Cuba, 90 miles off the coast of Florida. This must be dealt with, and we must update and secure our infrastructure

4 - Restore accountability and law and order. We must return order and civility back into our country.
Very simple, I am not running for office so I can write a book one day to talk about myself. I am running for my country. My legacy will fade into the pages of history, as many before me have. But, if I can contribute to making my country better, stronger, and healthier, that will far outlast any legacy I may have.

Maintaining the ideas and principles of America are far more important. I am not worried about an imagine I will leave behind. I want to leave behind an opportunity for the next generation to be better than we currently are.
September 11th, 2001. I was 6 years old. I remember waking up for school and my mother telling me I did not have to go that day. I remember it being extra strange because my father was not at work, and both of my parents were sitting in the living room watching the TV. I remember seeing the second tower get hit and watching my parent's reaction. On TV, I saw police officers and firemen rescuing people who were hurt and covered with ashes. Many ordinary citizens became heroes as they worked to rescue innocent people from danger.
A two part answer -

1 - Getting our national debt, spending, and deficit under control.

2 - Resolving the issue of having millions of illegal immigrants entering and inhabiting our country.
Unfortunately, the quality of candidates has tremendously decreased over the past few decades. In a perfect world, we should have candidates we want to keep in office for as long as possible. One of the many reasons I am running for office, is because I believe we need average, everyday Americans, who want to serve their country, to step up and seek elected office. We have been fooled into believing you need a law degree with a list of credentials and endorsements to seek office.

However, I do believe we need age limits and/or cognitive health requirements. Within 60 seconds, I bet every American can think of three people who portray cognitive issues due to age. We must have a standard in place to ensure our leaders are as cognitively sharp as possible.
Congress should use its investigative powers to conduct a full financial audit of the US government and the Federal Reserve. We must find out where and how our money is being spent, and stop wasteful spending. Why have we allowed ourselves to become $34 trillion dollars in debt? Why have we allowed our law makers to run a deficit for 30 years in a row? Why did many of our financial experts tell Americans inflation is "transitory?"

There are many questions that need to be asked, and much accountability that is past due.

Campaign website

Dellinger’s campaign website stated the following:

NATIONAL DEBT
In September of 2023, The United States reached a record $33 trillion dollars in debt. To put this into perspective, 1 trillion seconds is roughly equivalent to 32,000 years. Congressional spending is out of control. If elected, I will fight for common sense budgeting and spending, and pursue strategies to cut unnecessary spending.

INFRASTRUCTURE & NATIONAL SECURITY
Not only do we have an open border, but our internet, power, and much of our communications infrastructure is far from being secured. Recently, the US has seen unprecedented cyber attacks, which compromised incredible amounts of highly sensitive data in both the government and private sectors. China also opened a state-of-the-art cyber warfare base in Cuba, 90 miles from the coast of Florida. We must update and secure our infrastructure.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Congress must use it's investigative powers to conduct a full financial audit of the US government and the Federal Reserve. We must find out where and how our money is being spent. As the saying goes, "if you want to get to the root of the problem, follow the money."

There are many questions that need to be answered, and much accountability that is past due. [2]
