Marcus Shields
Marcus Shields (Democratic Party) was a judge for Seat 5 of the North Carolina 18th Judicial District Court. He assumed office in 2018. He left office on September 15, 2022.
Shields (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Seat 5 judge of the North Carolina 18th Judicial District Court. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Marcus Shields obtained a degree from the University of South Carolina and his J.D. from the North Carolina Central School of Law.[1] Prior to his appointment, Shields worked as an attorney in private practice, for the North Carolina Legal Services, and as an assistant public defender.[1]
