|- Illinois is a state uniquely blessed by its land, it's infrastructure, and the resilience of its people. It has been poorly governed and the bonds of trust have been broken between citizen and government. Those bonds must be restored.
- The toxic nature of our partisan politics makes solving real problems nearly impossible. It is time to find common ground for the sake of the common good. As an Independent I will listen to all voices, consult with the people of my district, and provide real solutions.
- The politics of false promises and canned rhetoric has failed our state. It is time to be honest with one another and face our challenges head-on, for the sake of future generations.
Illinois is blessed with productive land and logistical advantages to every other state in the Union. These attributes must be leveraged to create a new era of economic growth in our state.
Illinois must continue to build on its solid foundation of renewable energy sources. This benefits our economy, but also is a necessary component of doing our part to combat climate change.
