There was a Marengo-Union Elementary School District Bond Measure on the February 2 ballot in McHenry County for voters in the Marengo school district.

This measure sought to increase the payment of the school bond in order to pay it off sooner. This would have increased the district property taxes to be able to pay off the bond quicker.[2]
