Margaret A. Mahoney was a bankruptcy judge of the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of Alabama. She retired from the court on April 30, 2015.[1]

Education

Judge Mahoney received her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Catherine and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota.[2]

Career

Mahoney worked as a partner for Weil, Gotshal & Manges in the Houston and Dallas offices from 1989 to 1993. In 1993, she began working in Mobile, AL. Mahoney also worked as a bankruptcy judge in the District of Minnesota and the Southern District of Texas. She also taught at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.[3]
