Margaret Dee McGarity
Margaret Dee McGarity was a Bankruptcy Court judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. MGarity retired from the court on January 31, 2015.[1]
Education
Judge McGarity attended Emory University for her B.A. and the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her J.D.[2]
Career
As an attorney, McGarity began handling bankruptcy cases in the late 1970s and in 1978 was appointed bankruptcy trustee. Judge McGarity served on the bankruptcy bench from her appointment in 1987 until January 31, 2015.[1][3]
