Margaret Garvey
Margaret Garvey is a former justice for the Rockland County Supreme Court in the 9th Judicial District of New York. She was elected to a term that began in 2004, and she retired in 2016.[1][2]
Education
Garvey received her B.A. from Hunter/Lehman College in 1969 and her J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Garvey began her judicial career in 1994 as a justice of the Orangetown Town Court. The following year, she became a Rockland County Family Court judge. She served on that court until she became a supreme court justice in 2004.[1]
