Margaret Johnson was a judge for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in Santa Clara County, California.[1] She was first elected to the court in 2000.[2][3] Johnson retired in 2018.

Education

Johnson received her undergraduate degree from the University of London and her J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco.[4]

Career

Before she became a judge, Johnson served as a child support commissioner for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County for five years. She also previously worked as an attorney in private practice and was a certified family law specialist in California.[2]

Elections

2012

Johnson ran for re-election to the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, her name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Johnson was automatically re-elected.[5]
