Margaret Martin (New York)
Margaret Martin is a judge on the New York City Criminal Court of New York County, New York. She was appointed to the court by Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) in January 2017.[1]
Biography
Martin graduated from Boston University and earned her J.D. from the University of Denver.[1]
Prior to her appointment in 2017, Martin had served in various capacities for the Legal Aid Society, including senior staff attorney in the Capital Division. Her professional experience also includes work as an assistant deputy counsel for the Office of Policy and Planning of the Office of Court Administration.[1]
