Margaret Morrow
Margaret Morrow was a federal judge with the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She joined the court on February 24, 1998, after a nomination by President Bill Clinton. Morrow assumed senior status on October 29, 2015. She retired from the court on January 6, 2016.[1]
Early life and education
Morrow was born in Columbus, Nebraska. She earned a bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College in 1971. She earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1974.[1]
Professional career
Morrow was a private practice attorney in California from 1974 to 1998.[1]
Judicial career
Central District of California
Morrow was nominated to the United States District Court for the Central District of California by former President Bill Clinton on January 7, 1997, to a seat vacated by Richard Gadbois Morrow was confirmed by the Senate on February 11, 1998, and she received her commission February 24, 1998. Morrow assumed senior status on October 29, 2015.[1][2]
