Margaret O'Mara Frossard was a judge for the Illinois First District Appellate Court, Fourth Division. She was assigned to this court in 1997, but was also been retained to the Cook County Circuit Court in 2000 and 2006.[1][2] Her last term ended on December 3, 2012.[3][4]
Education
Judge Frossard was born on November 23, 1951 in Chicago. She received her B.A. degree in political science from Northwestern University in 1973 and her J.D. degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1976.[2]
Career
Judge Frossard began her career in 1976 as an Assistant State's Attorney in Cook County. She became Chief of the Felony Trial Division at this office before moving on to the Cook County Circuit Court in 1988. She was an Associate Judge on this court until 1994, when she became a circuit court judge. In 1997, she was assigned to the Illinois First District Appellate Court, where she served until December 3, 2012.[2]
