Margaret Ann Ruhl is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 68 from 2008 to 2016.

Ruhl did not seek re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2016 because she was term-limited.

Ruhl served as auditor for the City of Mount Vernon from 1983 to 1995, and as Knox County Auditor from 1995 to 2008.[1]

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on March 15, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was December 16, 2015. Incumbent Margaret Ruhl (R) did not seek re-election because of term-limits.

Rick Carfagna defeated John Russell in the Ohio House of Representatives District 68 general election.[2]

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. R. Joyce Skocic was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Margaret Ruhl defeated Jason Rogers in the Republican primary. Randy Miller ran as an Independent candidate. Ruhl defeated Skocic and Miller in the general election.[5]

Ruhl won re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House District 68. Ruhl defeated Jason Rogers and Jeff Furr in the March 6 Republican primary election and defeated John Ryerson (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
