Marshall earned her bachelor's degree from Duquesne University. She was a public school teacher in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Texas prior to retirement. Marshall currently serves as a teacher mentor at La Plata High School. She has previously served as a supervisor for the Charles County Board of Elections.[1]

I have served on the Middle States Evaluation Team for High Schools and Colleges and have served on three Maryland State Department of Education committees and was with Charles County's Office of Instruction.
