Margret Robb
Margret Robb was a judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 5th District. She assumed office on July 6, 1998. She left office on August 2, 2023.
Robb ran for re-election for judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 5th District. She won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
She was appointed to the court by former Governor Frank O'Bannon (D) and was retained by voters in 2000 and 2010.[1]
Robb served as chief judge of the court from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2013.[2][3]
Education
Robb earned her B.S. and M.S. in business economics from Purdue University. She received her J.D. from the Indiana University at Indianapolis Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1978.[1]
Career
Prior to her judicial appointment, Robb spent 20 years in general practice. She also previously served as a bankruptcy trustee for the Northern District of Indiana, as a family and civil law mediator, and as a deputy public defender in Tippecanoe County.[1]
