Marguerite Creel
Marguerite Creel (Democratic Party) is running for election for an at-large seat of the Wake County Board of Commissioners in North Carolina. She is on the ballot in the Democratic primary on March 3, 2026.[source]
Biography
Marguerite Creel was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College, a master's degree from the University of New Orleans, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of Southern California. Creel's career experience includes working as an educator at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has been affiliated with the Wake Forest Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Assistance League, the Junior League, and the New Orleans Young Leadership Council.[1]
