I am an award-winning Dallas civil litigation attorney focusing on personal injury matters representing injured individuals and their families. I have successfully litigated and resolved numerous cases for my clients in state and federal courts. I have also handled many guardian ad litem appointments representing minor children's interests in civil cases. Prior to starting my own firm, I did civil defense work for several years at a prominent firm and worked at an excellent boutique catastrophic injury firm. I also interned for a civil district court judge in Dallas County, similar to the bench I am seeking. I will be ready to serve from day one due to my qualifications. I have been selected as one of D Magazine's Best Lawyers for 2022. I have also been named numerous times to the prestigious Super Lawyers Texas Rising Stars List (2019-2022). I have been selected to the Top 40 Under 40 List by the National Trial Lawyers numerous years, among other awards. Recently, I was the only candidate in this race to be Endorsed as Qualified by the Dallas Committee for a Qualified Judiciary.
  • Fairness- Regarding my dedication to fairness, I have represented individuals on both sides of the docket starting off as a defense lawyer and then switching over to the plaintiff's side. As such, I will be a fair and impartial jurist.
  • Access- I will provide access by instituting technological innovations including remote hearings. I will also provide access by instituting a court that is fully bilingual and accessible to Spanish-speaking litigants. Furthermore, I will provide access by instituting internship programs for our youth including high school, college and law students. Lastly, I will provide access by partnering with Legal Aid clinics so that our pro se litigants have access to legal representation.
  • Efficiency- As to efficiency, I plan to keep the docket moving so that your tax paying dollars are put to good use. This will be done by making prompt and fair rulings, signing orders and moving cases along.
I am personally passionate about having a judicial system is fair, accessible and efficient. All litigants should have access to a fair system. All litigants should be able to access our courts. Lastly, all litigants deserve to have an efficient court system that will keep the wheels of justice moving.
