Maria Alegria and Stephen Tilton were recalled from their offices as members of the city council of Pinole, California in a special recall election that took place on the February 5, 2008 ballot in Contra Costa County.
Roy Swearingen was elected to the seat made vacant by the recall of Alegria, while Virginia Fujita was elected to the seat made vacant by the recall of Stephen Tilton.
