Maria Arias (New York)
Maria Arias is a judge of the Queens County Family Court in New York. She was appointed to this position by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2010.[1]
Education
Arias earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester. She received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to her appointment to the Queens County Family Court, Arias worked as a clinical law professor at the CUNY Law School, as a staff attorney for the Council of New York Law Associates' Community Development Assistance Center and as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society.[1]
