Maria I. Sampedro-Iglesia is a former judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida, serving from 2009 to 2019, when she retired. She served in the Juvenile Division and the Unified Family Court/Complex Litigation Division.[1][2][3]

Sampedro-Iglesia ran for re-election to the Eleventh Circuit Court.
As an unopposed candidate, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4] 

Education

Sampedro-Iglesia received both her B.A. degree (in journalism) and her J.D. degree from the University of Miami in 1985 and 1989, respectively.[1][5]

Career

Sampedro-Iglesia has worked as an associate of Jack R. Blumenfeld, P.A. (criminal defense) and an associate of Carlos Diaz Padron, P.A. (insurance defense). She was also a supervising attorney for the AIB Insurance Company and a partner of Jose R. Iglesia & Associates, Inc. In 2009, she joined the Eleventh Circuit Court.[1]
