Maria Maskall was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada.[1] She previously ran for this position in 2010, but was unsuccessful.[2]

Maskall ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 31.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Lisa Brown and incumbent Gayle Nathan.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Lisa Brown. [1][3] 

2010

Maskall ran for election to Department C of the Family Court division of the Eighth District Court. She won 29.25% of the vote in primary, finishing in second. She was defeated by incumbent Steven Jones (Nevada) in the general election.[2][4]

Maskall received her undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and her J.D. degree from the California Western School of Law in 1989.[5][6]
