Education
Rosa received an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from Albany Law School.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Rosa was a principal court attorney for a Supreme Court justice and Dutchess County Family Court judge. From 1987 to 1997, she was a trial attorney and partner for Satz, Kirshon & Rosa.[2]

2012 election
Rosa was one of seven candidates competing for three seats on the Supreme Court 9th Judicial District. She won 19.18% of the vote in the general election on November 6.[3] She was endorsed by the Democratic, Conservative, Working Families and Independence party tickets.[4]
