Primary: She ran unopposed in the primary on June 10, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 22.8 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Diana L. Sullivan. [1] 

Education

Kamalani received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2001 and her J.D. degree from the Golden Gate University in San Francisco in 2004.[2]

Career

Kamalani is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Louis C. Schneider in Las Vegas, Nevada. She specializes in criminal defense, criminal appeals, and family law.[2]
