I am a John Deere retiree and a candidate for Iowa HD94. I am passionate about public education, affordable and accessible healthcare, economic opportunity for all, and budget and taxation policy that matches our values.

At John Deere, I was a Project Manager in the Human Resource area and had also worked in several roles in Sales & Marketing. A highlight of my career was receiving the U.S. Department of Transportation 9/11 Ribbon for assistance provided in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

Additional I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Quad Cities, a non-profit organization empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University - Bloomington, a Master's degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum University, and a certificate in European Studies from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

  • Public service is a priority for me.
  • I want people to reach their potential. We're all stronger that way.
  • My community invested in my success. I want to invest in theirs.
I am passionate about public education, affordable and accessible healthcare, economic opportunity for all, and budget and taxation policy that matches our values.
My very first job was cleaning my optometrist's office when I was a young teenager. This evolved into filling in for her Administrative Assistant when she was on vacation as well as other special administrative projects. I am forever thankful to Dr. Arista and the potential she saw in me at such a young age.
I think it is beneficial to have a variety of experiences in our State Legislature.
