On November 2, 2010, Sapienza won election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[3][4]
Sapienza advanced past the September 14 primary election. She faced incumbent Melissa Lyons (D), incumbent Norman Major (R), incumbent Ken Weyler (R), incumbent David Welch (R), incumbent John Sedensky (R), Jeffrey Oligny (R), Carol Croteau (D), and Regina Birdsell (R) in the November 2 general election.
