Marilyn Townsend
Marilyn Townsend ran for election for the Branch 1 judge of the Dane County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. She lost in the general election on April 3, 2018.
Biography
Townsend was a trustee for the Village of Shorewood Hills from 1999 to 2012. She has been a municipal court judge for the village since 2012.[1]

2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[2] Jill Karofsky defeated Marilyn Townsend in the general election for the Branch 12 seat on the Dane County Circuit Court.
