Mario Civera, Jr.
Mario Civera, Jr. (b. June 19, 1946) was a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 164. He resigned effective April 30, 2010. Civera was elected in November 2009 to the Delaware County Council and had said during the campaign that if he won the Council seat he would resign from the House.[1]
Civera attended Polley Associates for Real Estate Fundamentals. He also attended an Indoctrination Course to the Delaware County Board of Realtors at Delaware County Community College.
Civera has served in the United States Air Force. He also worked as a self-employed businessman from 1971 to 1980.
Civera served as a Commissioner on the Upper Darby Board of Commissioners from 1974 to 1975. He then served as Upper Darby Councilman-at-Large from 1975 to 1992. On April 8, 1980, Civera won a special election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He has served in that position since, representing the 164th District.
