Marion County Aging, Disabilities & Health Services Levy Renewals, 3 (November 2010)

Three Marion County Aging & Disabilities Services Levy Renewal measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Marion County.

The first measure, sought to renew the current Aging services levy which is set at a rate of $.08 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to help pay for services offered as well as maintaining facilities for senior citizens.

  • NO 6,823 (34.12%)

The second measure, sought to renew the current disabilities services levy which is set at a rate of $.30 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to help pay for services offered for those with mental disabilities in the county.

  • YES 11,840 (58.83%) Approveda
  • NO 8,285 (41.17%)

The third measure, sought to renew the current mental health services levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to help pay for mental health services offered.[1]

  • YES 10,789 (53.77%) Approveda
  • NO 9,275 (46.23%)[2]
