Marion Charles Matthes (1906-1980) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

Matthes was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on February 19, 1958, to a seat vacated by Charles Whittaker; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 4, 1958, and received his commission on March 12th. He served as chief judge from 1970 until he assumed senior status on July 14, 1973. He served until his death on November 30, 1980.[1]
