A Marion Township Gas Aggregation question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Marion County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the township of Marion to arrange for the supply of natural gas to its residents.[1]

Language on the ballot:

Shall the Board of Trustees of Marion Township have the authority to aggregate the retail natural gas loads located in Marion Township, and for that purpose, enter into services agreements to facilitate for those loads the sale and purchase of natural gas, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?[1][2]
