Polling
For a list of polls conducted by Marist, click here. Marist conducts its poll using telephone surveys at the national, statewide, and citywide levels. Sample telephone numbers include both landline and mobile phone numbers.[4]
On its website, Marist described its sample selection: "Within each landline household, a single respondent is selected through a random selection process to increase the representativeness of traditionally under-covered survey populations. Mobile phones are treated as individual devices. After validation of age, personal ownership, and non-business-use of the mobile phone, interviews are typically conducted with the person answering the phone."[4]
