Mark A. Basham was a judge for the Santa Fe County Probate Court in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. He was elected to the court in 2006 and did not seek re-election in 2014 due to the two-consecutive-terms limitation for probate court judges. Basham stepped down from the bench at the end of his last term on December 31, 2014.[1][2][3]

Education

Basham received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico.[4]

Career

Before and during his judicial career, Basham maintained a private law practice with his wife, Katherine Ann Basham. He was elected to the part-time position of probate judge of the Santa Fe County Probate Court in 2006.[3]

Elections

2010

Basham ran unopposed for re-election to the Santa Fe County Probate Court and was re-elected with 100% of the vote.[5]
