On October 7, 2023, Price notified Ballotpedia that he had changed party affiliation from Republican to Libertarian.[3]
On April 21, 2024, Price notified Ballotpedia that he had changed party affiliation from Libertarian to Republican.[4]
Biography
Mark Price was born in Detroit, Michigan.[5] Price was elected to the board of education for the Highland Park School District in 2020. His experience on the school board includes serving on the High School and Fundraising Committees.[6] Price also has experience working as a City Charter Revision Commissioner for Highland Park, Michigan.[7]

Elections for the Michigan State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Incumbent Bert Johnson defeated Georgia Lemmons, Taras Nykoriak and John Olumba in the Democratic primary. Mark Price was unopposed in the Republican primary. Johnson defeated Price and Jeff Hall (I) in the general election.[8][9][1][2]
2012
Price ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 7. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and was defeated by District 8 incumbent Thomas Stallworth, III (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[10]
